The animals of home

Did my good deed of the week yesterday, as I saw a mother duck and her ducklings walking outside my apartment. She was obviously hurt, so my brother and I called Lincoln Wildlife Rescue. Turned out she was probably bit by a snapping turtle, and sadly her right leg was too injured to save. But, her ducklings and herself will be taken care of by a vet and then released into the wild.





And to top it off, here is a really fat squirrel, eating sunflower seeds.
