Ramadan
Sunday marked the end of Ramadan, one of the most holy and blessed months of the islamic year. For those who participate in Ramadan, it means fasting from sun up to sun down every day. When the clock struck 6:37 p.m., muslims in Lincoln were allowed to break their fast for the final time this year. They celebrate the breaking of the fast with a giant feast, starting with dates and coffee. After prayer, they eat on the floor together.
